Leuna Farhat is a Research Intern at the Center for Policy and Economic Research (CPER) and also works as a Junior Program Officer at World Vision Bangladesh in Netrokona District. She began her career as a Young Professional in Tahirpur, Sunamganj, gaining hands-on experience in community development, particularly in livelihoods. Following her promotion, she now contributes to a wider portfolio including health and nutrition, WASH, education, advocacy, child participation, and livelihoods; gaining a comprehensive perspective on integrated development programming.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi, where she developed strong foundations in economic theory, quantitative analysis, and research methods. During her studies, she gained proficiency in STATA, Excel, Rstudio and LaTeX. Her excellence in the performing arts and academics earned her a fully funded scholarship from India to pursue her bachelor's degree.
Passionate about policy research and evidence-based development, she is committed to applying her analytical skills and field experience to contribute to data-driven research and policies that promote inclusive growth, sustainable economic development, and equitable opportunity.
