Biography

Md. Farid Uddin is a seasoned MEAL professional with over 19 years of experience in health, nutrition, WASH, school sanitation, and climate change programs across Asia and Africa. He has held senior roles with leading international organizations, including Plan International, World Vision, CIP-IRRI, Cowater International, and HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation.

Farid specializes in designing and implementing evidence-based monitoring and evaluation systems, knowledge management frameworks, and impact assessments that strengthen program quality and accountability. His expertise spans quantitative and qualitative research, data visualization, and results-based management, with extensive collaboration with the Government of Bangladesh and global donor agencies.

He has led multi-country projects in Bangladesh, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Mali, Tanzania, Senegal, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Nigeria, and has authored several peer-reviewed publications on innovation and resilience. Farid holds master’s degrees in Applied Statistics and Crop Botany, and brings to CPER a commitment to advancing sustainable development through rigorous research, participatory learning, and policy advocacy.
